About Bobbi Kilty, MFA, Michigan Artist. Bobbi is based in Williamston, Michigan. She is a painter using water media, encaustic pigments, and oil stick. Visual imagery reflects her interests in nature and ecology. For several years she has worked with new techniques and unconventional materials. Most recently she creates monotypes using gel plates, silk screen, and the encaustic Roland Hot Box. Collage work contains natural materials as well as her own digital images. The work is both representational and abstract, including landscapes, seascapes, people, and concepts.
